Strong colors GREEN and TURQUOISE are recommended for standard projects. The other colors are weak shades in intensity and duration.

Suitable for bodywork above all, but also for many other supports (Wood, Bricks, cement, plastics, metals, concrete, brick, paints ...). The paint is a solvent base to be varnished, it is therefore important to varnish it, in order to give it perfect resistance.

The principle is simple : Knowing that a phosphorescent paint is transparent and colorless, if we apply it on a black background, we will obtain a very weak close effect. For this reason, a white background (or light color) is necessary.

Contains 400ml (3/4sqm at application) in 3 or 4 layers

VOC : > 420g/L

Instructions : Spray thin passes (several rather than one thick coat). The thicker it is, the more the paint will be able to store the light!

On bodywork, bike, model : Varnish with our professional automotive clearcoat in spray. It is important to varnish without waiting more than 10 to 20 minutes.

Application tips : Apply in quick coats, at intervals of 1 to 2 minutes depending on the temperature. Shake well between each coat. Maintain a distance of 15 cm from the support, no more and no less, and keep a constant speed of movement, with an angle of 90° to the surface. At the end of the application, reverse the aerosol and press the sprayer for 2 seconds to purge.

It is important to consult our PDFs, including the table of luminosity measurements ! This shows the precise measurements of the intensities of the different shades : Green is by far the strongest and most persistent color, followed by turquoise. On the other hand, the other colors are less powerful and shine for a shorter time.

Since the application with an aerosol is much less easy than with a spray gun, we strongly recommend the use of our 'spray gun handle'

Questions and Answers :

Q : How long does the luminance of the paint last ?

A : Consult the luminance measurements in PDF on this page. The answer, of course, cannot be precise, because it depends on the intensity, type, and time of the excitation charge. In general, one can reasonably expect a full night of luminance for a strong color like green, applied in 6 thin layers, and exposed to the sun for 1 hour.

Q : How to effectively recharge phosphorescent paints ?

A : Of course, it is with natural sunlight, even veiled by clouds, that phosphorescent paints will charge best, because sunlight contains a full spectrum of light rays from infrared to ultraviolet.
For electric lights, white and blue spectrum lamps (Neons) give the best results.

Q : Is the phosphorescent spray paint the same as the one in a pot? Is it resistant ?

A : Yes, it is the same, but mixed with 2/3 propellant gas. Yes, the paint is very resistant to UVs and heat, and durable (its phosphorescent property lasts beyond 50 years)
