Step 1 : First of all, you must know your Suzuki car colour code. For this, we are providing some useful information to help you locate it on specific areas of your vehicle.
Step 2 : Go to the product page below, entitled two-coat paint or basecoat paint to varnish. On this page, take the time to read and understand each instruction. This will help ensure that your Suzuki paintwork is carried out like a professional.
Step 3 : Select the format that suits your needs. As a general rule, you should allow approximately 250 ml of ready-to-use product to paint 1 m² of bodywork. Paint matched to your Suzuki car colour code is also available in aerosol spray format.
Step 4 : Proceed to the basket and enter your colour code in the field provided. If you cannot find this field, do not worry – you can simply send us an email after receiving the order confirmation by email.
Please remember that your paintwork will require a Topcoat. You will find this varnish, in either can or aerosol format, further down among the related products.
Orders are processed immediately, provided we receive your order before 2:30 p.m. You can receive your paint at home, at your workplace, or at a pick-up point the next day.
What are the tips and tricks for achieving professional-quality bodywork paint?
First, take great care in preparing the surface. Surface preparation accounts for 90% of a successful result. The surface must be thoroughly cleaned and sanded with 500 grit abrasive. It must be dry, free from grease or contaminants, and dust-free.
The application of single-component paint, also referred to in professional terms as “two-coat paint” (because it is applied in two stages – paint and Topcoat), is both quick and straightforward.
When painting with a spray gun, simply apply very fine coats until full coverage is achieved.
When painting with an aerosol, you cannot control the spray pressure, so we speak of quick layers rather than fine layers.
The advantage of Suzuki colour code paint in 1K basecoat format is that it dries extremely quickly and forms a very thin film. As a result, the risk of runs is minimal.
Clearcoating is essential, and must be done promptly after applying the paint. It provides both gloss and protection.
Two-component gloss paint is only available for pre-2000 Suzuki car colour codes.
Please note: if you are using aerosols, we recommend our plastic spray handle – equipped with a trigger, it allows you to paint almost as precisely as with a spray gun, and helps reduce finger fatigue.
The Japanese manufacturer Suzuki produces not only two-wheelers, but also cars – and even boats. Originally, this Japanese company manufactured machines.
With the spread of the first automobiles around the world in the early 1900s, Suzuki quickly entered the car manufacturing sector.
Suzuki is well known in the automotive world for producing small cars at affordable prices. Little is said about the quality of these vehicles, yet they all benefit from the excellence of Japanese engineering in terms of durability and mechanical reliability.
For the past 30 years, Suzuki has specialised in small-displacement off-road vehicles.
For SUZUKI vehicles, the VIN plate indicating the colour code can be found in three possible locations:
– Inside the engine compartment
– Between the two doors on the right-hand side (passenger side)
– Between the two doors on the left-hand side (driver side)
You may refer to the images provided below to see the exact locations.
The colour code always consists of three characters (letters or numbers).
