Each scooter brand has developed a colour chart for painting their scooters. Each colour, among the types of scooter paints, is listed with a codification, specific to each manufacturer, which results in a scooter colour code and a colour name.
When you want to repair the paint on your scooter, it is therefore mandatory to know either the colour code or the name of the colour. Scooter colour codes are composed of 1 to 4 alphanumeric characters (example: D292), while colour names are usually composed of a colour and an adjective in English or the manufacturer's language (example: OCEAN BLUE).
So that you can do the work yourself or entrust it to your body shop, we prepare the OEM colours in both spray can and gun can versions.
The paints are solvent-based and 1K basecoat versions, pre-diluted and therefore ready to be applied.

The contemporary colours of two-wheelers are mainly metallic or pearlescent: the paints are therefore single-component paints to be finished with a Clearcoat.
This is the two-coat system found with all motorcycles: a base + a Clearcoat.
To order, just choose the minimum packaging of 250ml or an aerosol, for a simple touch-up, or up to 500ml or 1 litre, to paint a complete scooter.
The scooter colour code must be communicated to us simply by message during or after the order.
Our colourist makes the tinting within a maximum of half a day and the scooter manufacturer’s paint, once ready, is shipped the same day by express.
If you are not sure about the colour code or the name of the colour, write to us and we will check if your data is correct with our scooter colour code database.
Needs and yields
To determine the right amount of paint needed, you have to consider the approximate size of the part to be painted, adding 20%. Each type of paint, primer or Clearcoat has a « yield », that is, a different consumption.
The yield of a paint is expressed in square metres (m²) per litre (L).
We always talk about the consumption of a diluted paint or the paint mixed, either for one coat (and in this case it is specified), or generally.
What to do if you can't find the colour code of your scooter ?
In such a case, and this is not an extraordinary situation, unfortunately, if you have looked in the maintenance booklet or the papers of the scooter, then you should contact the dealer and ask for the information. In case of inability of the representatives of the brand in your area, then there is the solution of internet forums dedicated to the brand and models of the scooter, in your language or even English-speaking.
