The performance takes into account losses during spraying, light or full finish and composition*.

* Did you know that a 400ml aerosol contains 100ml paint + 300ml gas? That's not a lot of product !

The technique of "bike spray paint" :

First of all, there are V-spray nozzles and round-jet ones. In order to avoid losing too much product, a round-jet nozzle is preferable !

Here are some tips and techniques for painting a bicycle frame or fork with a spray can :

Keep the spray can 20cm away from the frame, keep it moving at all times.

Wipe the edge and the nozzle regularly. Make quick and repeated passes, respecting a certain time between each coat.

Keep a very flexible wrist, so as to always keep the can of paint at 90° to the tube.

Try to carry out all the painting steps of the bike in succession in order to ensure a good grip between coats. This is called "wet-on-wet painting".

Paints and varnishes cannot be applied with a roller or a brush ! The solution of spray products therefore makes it possible to apply each family of effects and colors, according to trends and preferences : if you do it well, with care and application, you can do a job indistinguishable from that of the body painter !
