StardustColors Opal Paints are among the most beautiful and captivating paints available today.
These opalescent paints are unique in the world, displaying iridescent reflections identical to those of mother-of-pearl found in certain shells or to the colours of precious stones and white opals.
Sometimes called Mother-of-Pearl, the 11 shades of the Opal range surpass all known paints in terms of beauty, offering a fascinating appearance. Each Opal paint is truly unique, revealing a rainbow of subtle reflections.
Stardust Opal paints are available in a selection of rare and exquisite shades, ranging from pale cream or white to pink, lilac, green, orange, or grey. From a scientific perspective, due to their physical and chemical properties, Opal paints generate colour directly from light.
Dichroic effect: When the observer moves around an Opal-painted surface, the light interacts and transforms the perceived colours. The coating reflects and reacts to light, displaying a very intense “metallic electric white” sheen. The shades are luminous and ever-changing, depending on the surface angles and the viewer’s perspective.
Colour Description
OPAL JASPER (OP10030 ) - The most powerful shade of the Opal series. It displays very intense reflections: a beautiful, mysterious sparkle seems to emanate from the paint, naturally drawing attention. The colour transitions from warm to cool tones, ranging from peachy orange to bright green.
SPECTROLITE (OP10010) - With its radiant cool tones, this shade is subtler than Opal Jasper yet equally impressive. It reveals flashes of colour ranging from green to purple. The cool, shifting aspect continually captures the eye.
TOURMALINE (OP13450) - This shade evokes certain gemstones with rich, vibrant tones. Soft and elegant, this Opal colour presents metallic white reflections with transitions from bright green to electric pink via blue.
OPAL OP1022Q - A lighter and more discreet Opal Blue Red shade. It appears perfectly white without direct light, then reveals delicate electric-blue hues reminiscent of tropical lagoons, which turn to pink under a setting sun.
SIBERIAN MOONSTONE (OP10020) - Sparkling reflections with icy, moonlit tones; translucent, ethereal, and ghost-like, ranging from pale pink to turquoise.
CRISAL AQUA AURA (OP10040) - This Opal colour displays dual reflections of green and pure blue, with a pearly white gloss across the surface. Its special reflective properties and soft electric sheen evoke serenity and harmony.
