Marblizer marbled bike spray paint - monochrome - STARDUST BIKE

Marblizer is an effect paint that creates a pearly marble effect.

This product is silver-white and is used in combination with a black background and a colored top coat.

This three-coat bike paint is therefore a very original and impressive colored marble effect, as it shows a beautiful shimmer and depth effect.

Stardust bike paints are professional quality paints from the world of bodywork. They are the first effect paints, adapted to the decoration of bikes, in aerosol spray format.

Color choice :

The background being black, and the marblizer being silver white, the coloring is free and can be done according to a list of totally transparent "Candy" colors, available in aerosol spray in Stardust Bike candy clearcoat page

Instructions for the application

The bike must first be painted or primed in black

This can be a primer specifically adapted to the materials of the bicycle frame, or a black base paint

Applying a black base paint is possible on an already primed, painted or varnished bicycle frame. When the bike frame is stripped or raw, then a primer must be applied.

The Stardust bike range offers a series of basic spray paints and also a series of special primers for aluminum, carbon or uneven surfaces.

P400 or P500 sanded

Marblizer requires a semi-manual application, which is done area by area on the bike frame.

1 – Apply a coat of Marblizer to a 20 cm area of the bicycle frame

2 – Immediately place a cellophane film on the wet Marblizer. The film should not be stretched, or pressed, but should naturally lay itself. Remove it after a few seconds, and put it back on in a different direction if the pattern created is not satisfactory.

3 – Apply on the next area... and repeat the operation all over the bike within 15 minutes.

Varnishing

The varnishing should not be done at any time : it is important to apply it within 30 minutes after the application of the Marblizer on the bike frame : beyond that time, no adhesion is guaranteed.

What if you need more time ?
> Simply let the Marblizer dry and sand it with a gray abrasive sponge
We can then varnish without any time constraints.

The clearcoat must be a colored Candy clearcoat.
The number of coats will determine the color.
The more coats, the darker the color.

The time interval between the application of each coat depends on the temperature : between 5 (25°C) and 10 min (15°C)

Efficiency and usage

For a bicycle frame, 1 to 2 aerosols sprays of Marblizer are necessary.
