Aerosols represent the version usable by the general public among the other types of motorcycle paints, , without the need for a spray gun or compressor. Check out our entire range of motorcycle paint cans: thanks to our equipment, and as a French motorcycle paint manufacturer, we can fill any type of aerosol product. We fill the paint cans on the same day before sending the orders.
Our OEM motorcycle tinting services are therefore also available to customers who do not have spray guns, with same-day shipping of these custom motorcycle paint cans.
Each product is available in an aerosol version, allowing you to repaint a complete motorcycle or make a touch-up without any equipment:
Spray primers: we offer adhesion primers for all substrates (aluminium, steel, plastic). As for surface primers, we manufacture them in 1K or 2K aerosol cans.
1K means 1 component: it is a single-component paint, air-drying, for the stages before varnishing.
2K means 2 components: it is a product (2K paint, primer, clearcoat) that includes a hardener for superior chemical curing.
Each can of motorcycle paint available within 48 hours
OEM paints: these are colour preparations (with a minimum mixing quantity of 100 ml corresponding to one aerosol) that are made the same day as the order, according to the formula of your colour code.
One aerosol can covers about 0.5 m² in several coats. We fill the aerosols with the products corresponding to single 1K tints (paint + clearcoat) or to three-coat system tints (base + paint + clearcoat).
Most of the existing special effect paints are also available in motorcycle paint cans (fluorescent, holographic, candy, chameleon...).
Is the result as good with a motorcycle spray paint as with paint applied with a spray gun? Yes, absolutely, because the 1K basecoats are very easy to apply and the final 2K finish in spray paint version is excellent in terms of both application and result.
One thing to know !
First of all, if you have the necessary equipment (compressor and spray gun), it is really a bad idea to choose spray paints, simply for a question of application quality, but also for a simple reason of economy. The gas/paint content that makes up the total volume (usually 400 ml) is mostly gas (about 75%).
How long can you keep your spray paints ?
Not very long, for the simple reason that each aerosol can contains pressurised gas to enable spraying, and this gas inevitably escapes from its container. The product remains good for months or even years, but unfortunately, it is not advisable to keep aerosols beyond one month, especially if they are filled to order, due to the risk of a drop in pressure, which can go as far as the total disappearance of the gas. This is particularly the case with pearlescent paints: a single pearl in the valve is enough to cause the gas to escape slowly.
