1K Basecoat 

1K Basecoat is a standard product commonly used in bodywork and automotive paintwork.

It has many qualities, such as ease of application, fast drying time and great coat thinness.

1K Basecoats are products in which no hardener is added. Our products are ready-to-use and normally do not need additional thinning.

1K basecoats, as their name suggests, give a matt aspect after drying; it is mandatory to apply a Clearcoat.

We offer only 9 basic colours, and we do not provide any automotive or motorbike industrial shades.

Creation of personalised RAL & PANTONE colours
We offer the mixing of all colours on request from the RAL or PANTONE colour charts, in the same formula of solvent-based single-component basecoat paint (1K), both in cans or aerosols.

Destination: Automotive        

Use : Spray gun, airbrush 

Mix: Ready to use, pre-thinned

Application: In successive passes, over a clean and dry surface sanded with > P600. Apply a Topcoat within a maximum of 30 min or scuff with Scotch-Brite / light wet sanding.

Settings: Spray gun nozzle: 1–1.5 mm. Airbrush nozzle: 0.3–0.8 mm

Flash-off time: 5 à 10min à 20°C   

Density: 950 g/L

VOC: >420 g/L
