Mixing :
Spraycan products are ready-to-use. Note: 2K clearcoat spraycans contain a hardener capsule – once activated, pot life is approx. 1 hour.
Cans: paints are pre-diluted one-component products.
Clearcoat mixing ratio:
100 parts UHS 830 clearcoat
33 parts Hardener
10 parts Thinner
Pot life: 20 minutes
Application instructions for frame and fork :
Prepare and sand the existing paint with P500 abrasive.
In order to get a natural adhesion, without any sanding, it would be better to follow 3 painting steps successively, without exceeding 30 min between each :
A – Apply the black base in a few fines passes
B– Apply Chameleon paint in a few very fine passes until coverage is achieved. Spray paint (nozzle 1.0 - 1.4 mm, 2.5 - 3.5 bars)
C – Clearcoat: 2–3 coats, 5–10 min interval. Air-drying allows reassembly after 2 hours.

Primers :
No primer is required unless:
-
The frame is stripped to bare substrate
-
The surface is uneven or repaired.
In such cases, use an adhesion primer or a filler primer.
For maximum impact resistance (stone chips, etc.), special clearcoats and ceramic clearcoat are recommended.
Stickers :
After 1–2 h drying, lightly scuff the surface with an abrasive sponge, then apply stickers and re-clearcoat.
Question: Can I choose any background colour to replace black in the complete kit?
► Answer: Yes, you can request any base colour from this list of GRAPHIC colours.
You must specify the colour by email after placing your order or in the comments section.
In this case, it is important to choose a transparent chameleon colour. (see the list of transparent chameleon colours).
