Fast hardening UV resin

Transparent gel resin UV-8103 is a special type of epoxy resin called "UV".

It is a one-component UV resin because it does not require any hardener.

It cures (hardens and dries) only with exposure to ultraviolet rays (<395nm)

The curing is ultra fast and is complete in 30 seconds.

Sunlight can be used if there is enough sunlight.

“Black light” torches or neons, emitting light included in ultra-violet rays from 254 to 395 nanometers, can be used.

UV Led resin is used in thin layers (varnish) or in thicker casting (molding, jewelry ...) for decorative applications.

It can be colored easily with our fluorescent pigments, or transparent “Candy”.

The use is simple and requires no equipment.

The UV Led drying resin is supplied with its opaque bottle equipped with a dropper.

Finished appearance

Once the ultraviolet resin has hardened, it shows excellent optical transparency, the material is solid and clear, smooth and shiny like a mirror, it has a good weather resistance and is anti-yellowing.

The product has almost no evaporation during drying, no odor. There is a very small retraction (0.01%). Tip: the faster the curing speed, the greater the shrinkage. In addition, the Resin should not be too thick, otherwise a sagging phenomenon may occur.

UV glue

Our UV curing epoxy resin provides good adhesion to ceramics, glass, metal, stone and some hard plastics. The product can therefore also be used for rapid bonding of electronic parts.

1. Place the product on the part and irradiate with a 36 watt UV lamp at a distance of 20-25 cm for 15 seconds.

2. If you want to increase the polymerization speed, simply increase the power of the UV lamp.

3. If a “hollow body” phenomenon is observed, this means that the lighting distance of the lamp is too close, the curing speed of the surface layer is too fast. Move the lamp away from the part.

4. Storage : This product should be stored in an environment at room-temperature, protected from air and light. The storage life is six months in its sealed packaging.

Safety precautions : If the glue splashes in your eyes, rinse immediately thoroughly and consult a doctor. If the glue comes into contact with the skin, wipe it off and rinse with soap and water. If irritation occurs and does not go away, consult a doctor.
