High-resistance two-component resin floor varnish
Water-based, solvent-free formula*
Satin finish
High resistance
Sold as a varnish + hardener kit
PRODUCT TYPE AND AREAS OF APPLICATION
SOL 2K HYDRO is a two-component, water-based polyurethane coating designed for renovating and decorating a wide range of surfaces.
This new-generation varnish is based on advanced water-based polyurethane resin technology.
Its specific formulation provides exceptional adhesion to most materials: wood, concrete, metal, tiles, melamine, etc.
Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, with no yellowing or chalking over time.
It offers excellent mechanical and chemical resistance to common aggressions:
Highly resistant to shocks and impacts
Does not yellow in light
Has very strong adhesion to various substrates
FIELD OF USE
Intended for: indoor and outdoor use, for both new work and renovation.
Compatible substrates: wood, iron, concrete, tiles and similar surfaces.

APPLICATION SYSTEM
Application with a special polyurethane (PU) roller is recommended for optimal results.
PREPARING THE SURFACE
Meticulous preparation of the surface is essential to ensure the adhesion and durability of the coating.
The surface must be clean, dry and free of oil, grease or any contaminants.
On tiles:
Sand mechanically (diamond sander).
Clean thoroughly, wash and remove dust.
Fill the joints with a fine filler, then sand again and remove dust.
On concrete:
For new concrete: allow a minimum drying time of 30 days.
For old substrates: sand and repair any cracks or cavities.
The application of an epoxy primer (approximately 150 mL/m² in one coat) is strongly recommended to improve adhesion.
APPLICATION
Preparation of the mixture:
Pour the resin and hardener in the proportions provided.
Mix for 2 minutes with a low-speed mixer (300 rpm maximum) to homogenise without introducing air.
Strictly adhere to the volumes indicated to ensure the product's performance.
Application:
Apply the first coat with a PU roller (coverage: 8–12 m²/L).
Leave to dry for 24 hours.
Then apply the second coat under the same conditions.
Leave to dry again for 24 hours.
Complete hardening is achieved after 8 to 10 days.
Cleaning of tools: with clean water immediately after use.
DRYING
Conditions: 20°C – relative humidity 60%
Dry film thickness: 35 µm
Dust-free: 3-4 hours
Handleable: 4-6 hours
Recoatable: 24 hours
Fully cured: 8 to 10 days
