THE INDISPENSABLE

Compressed air hosesThe ducts to carry the compressed air

A compressed air hose is usually made from high density PVC and a mesh to withstand high air pressures to allow the supply of compressed air for paint application, bodywork, as in other areas.

Important !
If the hose is too long or too narrow, the pressure from the compressor may drop when reaching the gun. It is important to use a pipe with a diameter of at least 0.65 cm. A diameter of 0.8mm or 0.9mm is recommended.

Hoses for compressed air

When painting with an HVLP spray gun, it is not recommended to use a hose that is too big and too long. This generates a loss of flow, and leads to poor paint quality. In addition, a pipe that is too big loses flexibility and increases the weight, which affects the painter's movement and gestures, which must remain fluid.

Check the length of your compressed air hose, and know that the recommended length is 10 meters : with each meter, as you move away from the compressor, less air reaches the gun .

How to install your compressed air hose ?

How to install it quickly and efficiently ? We offer a pneumatic hose of 10 meters in length. This is terminated at each end with a 1/4 inch female thread. It is connected to the air compressor on one side and on the other, you may need to connect a paint gun, or a sander, a riveter, or a compressed air blower.

Compressed air hosesFittings to use for our HFH-10 hose

The air outlet of most air compressors is generally a pneumatic quick connector with clips called female :
To connect our hose to it, we must screw our "mal coupler" onto it 1/ 4 - ZBM 14".
At the other end of the hose, we want to connect our gun, so we will have to screw on our "double Union Male EU-14" adapter fitting and then a ZF-14 female quick connector.
As for the gun, they are most frequently supplied with a 1/4 male screw : we must therefore screw our ZBF-14 female coupler.
