Hikari Toy PVC vinyl paints for toys 

Sofubi vinyl paints for toys are intended for decoration and customization on PVC vinyl figurines and fantasy characters and are part of the wargame paints. Different from acrylic wargame paints, Sofubi paints are not applied to figurines but rather to dolls, characters, or robots of average size.

Sofubi drying

They dry quickly and the painted parts can be handled and are completely dry after 1 hour.

Resistance
Vinyl paint, when dry, creates a thick, tough coat with a glossy, "plastic-like" appearance. These are satin finish colors : they do not need to be varnished to resist scratching. These Vinyl paints are flexible and ultra resistant.

Adhesion on PVC

Sofubi is the Japanese term for the material dolls are made of. Hikari Toys series paints are easily applied onto glossy soft vinyl toys, providing a remarkable grip.

SOFUBI paints are specially designed to create a powerful direct adhesion to the surfaces of PVC, Sofubi, etc. toys. No primer and no specific preparation required.

SOFUBI subjects to be painted

Sofubi type dolls and figurines are painted with characters that are sometimes scary and sometimes friendly.

The models are made by molding flexible PVC plastic, transparent or opaque type.

They are then intended to be painted and customized, with a spray gun or airbrush, but also with a fine brush for the details.
