P510 Carbon primer
Use / destination:
Suitable for bike frames, fairings, carbon structures, snowboards, windsurfing boards, and similar applications.
Thanks to its special formulation, this is the only product that guarantees adhesion and prevents peeling on carbon substrates.
It is used exclusively on bare carbon, before paint application and after any repair with a carbon filler, for example.
Nature of the product:
P510 is a solvent-based, two-component acrylic epoxy primer.
It is a fine, transparent, easy-to-apply matt product that dries quickly.
Shade: Matt and transparent, it helps preserve the visible weave of the carbon fibres beneath.
The P510 carbon primer is a two-component clear primer with direct adhesion capability. Its key advantage is its transparency.
We also offer P410 Primer available in opaque white, grey or black, which adheres equally well to carbon substrates.

Question:
Is it possible to sand the carbon primer?
Yes, it is a sandable product, like any paint or varnish.
However, it is not a filling primer and should not be used as such.
It is designed for adhesion, not surfacing.
If you require a thick, self-levelling, sandable, and transparent product, we recommend the 4000 Thick epoxy resin / varnish
