Fast grey one-component surfacing primer

Surfacing primers are used to fill and level a surface, erasing slight defects from the object or part. For more important defects, use our putties beforehand.

When most filler primers are two-component, i.e. they are usually mixed with 20 or 25% hardener + one thinner, the new Stardust "Surfacer 1K" primer is ready to use and one-component :

It does not require hardener and dries in the air very quickly.

It is ready to paint, without dilution.

This primer is designed to create a perfect surface after sanding.

Thanks to the fineness of its grain and its finish, it can be considered as a self-smoothing primer to be covered directly with paint within 30 minutes.

Substrates :

General primer for all surfaces.

For a guarantee of adhesion use a specific primer.

How to use it :

Gun from 0.8 to 1.7 mm

Airbrush 0.3 - 0.5 mm

Application in 1 to 4 coats

At 20°C, respect 60 seconds minimum between each coat.

Use from 15 to 25°C

Drying :

At 20°C, allow 10 minutes per coat before sanding.

Thickness :

20µm dry per coat

Apply up to 80 µm
