Crystal Resin for Inclusion and Casting

The Gedeo Crystal Resin is a two-component, odourless epoxy system that cures after mixing.

Once hardened, the resin becomes extremely hard, perfectly translucent, and as clear as glass.

Kit contents:

- 100 ml of Resin A + 50 ml of Hardener B

- 2 mixing spatulas

- 2 teaspoons

- 1 pair of gloves

- 1 instruction manual

Uses of Crystal Resin:

- Jewellery, casting, moulding, marbled effects, etc.

Can be applied on paper, plastic, glass, or varnished wood
- Suitable for coating or casting thicknesses from 3 mm to 2 cm
- Ideal for topcoats and glazing applications
- Crystal Resin is very easy and pleasant to use.

Application Guidelines:

Weighing:

For best results, use a precision scale to ensure exact dosing.

→ Mixing ratio: 100 g of resin to 50 g of hardener.

Mixing: Using a spatula, stir thoroughly for several minutes, scraping the corners and sides of the container.

Curing: A minimum casting thickness of 4 mm is required to ensure proper hardening.

The thicker the layer, the faster the curing.

At 20°C, drying takes approximately 12 to 24 hours.

Using crystal resin on wood

If applying on raw wood, seal the surface first with a clearcoat to block absorption.
We recommend our water-based clearcoat for this purpose.
