Qualities:

Non adherent Moulding Silicone
Very fluid, easy-to-use silicone, allows work for long period
Suitable for complex moulding
Moderate hardness, ultra flexible and expandable
Very difficult to tear




Mixture
Silistar moulding silicone dries and hardens by addition of its catalyst
By weight 100 parts of silicone and 5 parts of catalyst
Mix the products thoroughly before use
Work at temperatures between 15 and 300C max

Application

Preparation of the original surface:
Clean, dry, free of dust and grease
Remove air bubbles from the mixture while leaving it to rest.

Apply the product in several successive steps.
Apply the first layer with a brush
For the next layer(s), create a new mixture and pour the product over the first layer within one hour.
The hardening varies according to the temperature (24 hours by 200C)
The final mechanical properties of the mould will be obtained within 7 days.

Possibility to modify the viscosity with our SILISTAR Thixo additive for vertical applications
