Specific protective clearcoatVarnish to protect

Whether it is a varnish to protect against Wi-Fi waves, the sun or heat, all of this exists and is part of the family of special varnishes developed by Stardust. Specific protective varnishes are designed to meet the specific needs of certain conditions or certain degradation factors.

Apart from the classic PU varnish used on bodywork which could easily be included in this article, as it is able to protect against many aggressive elements (light, rain, products, abrasion), but which is a little too general, let's do a quick review of the properties of these different specific protective varnishes : Resistant to high temperatures.

Ultra-hard, used against abrasion Anti-IR rays, against heat Anti-UV rays, against ultraviolet rays Fireproof, does not spread flames

Specific protective varnishes

The finishing coatings have an aesthetic function, of shine, and above all of protection of the layers below (the paints) and of the whole of the object (the wooden or metal support), against the wear of time or all wear factors. We can take the example of transparent finishes applied in trains or public places on the various painted elements, plastics or wood.

They must protect against normal wear and tear, but must also offer excellent protection against fire (M1 and M0 standard), by preventing the spread of flames or (R5) by not emitting toxic fumes. Another concrete example : anti-wave varnishes which create a screen against electromagnetic waves or marine varnishes capable of withstanding the corrosive exposure of salt.

Anti-UV varnishes

To protect against the very harmful effects of these very energetic rays which are part of the natural light of the sun, there are anti-UV varnishes whose protective effect is based on the combined action of two chemical agents, capable of to absorb or block these rays.

This anti-UV varnish, far from being an infallible remedy against UV rays, which deteriorate and bleach colors, nevertheless represents an effective shield

Specific protective varnishAnti-heat varnishes

Used in the architectural or agricultural field, anti-heat varnishes work simply by returning the part of the light which is responsible for the emission of heat.
It is the infra-reds, which are responsible for example of the rise in heat amplified by the glazed surfaces of greenhouses or modern buildings.

Ceramic glazes

It's the hardest, not in general, because it's true that there are some even harder products, but at least in the field of products to be sprayed and without cooking, it is calls ceramic varnishes, in reference to its exceptional hardness, which allows to protect against scratches and shocks up to 50% more than the best automotive varnishes.
