Solvent based transparent binder for automotive paintwork

What is the binder ?

The binder is the manufacturing base of the paint. It is a slightly milky liquid, transparent when dry. It is the base product of 1K basecoats, to which pigments, dyes, fillers, etc. are added. Our binder for automotive paintwork is solvent-based. We also offer another binder in a new-generation water-based version.

2 types : HS (High Solid) or MS (Medium Solid)

The HS version is a transparent "standard" bodywork binder, suitable for mixing colours, Candy, glitter, or for creating a protective interlayer.

The MS version is a transparent binder specially designed for mixing pearlescents or aluminium pigments, to create pearlescent or metallic paints. It is particularly fine and liquid, and ensures optimal “positioning” of the pigments.

Compatible with all automotive paints, Topcoats and shades.

Binder Crystal 1K

The Crystal binder is a one-component solvent-based “two-layer” type resin.

Its crystalline transparency is reminiscent of that of a bodywork Topcoat.

This transparent base allows the mixing of pearls, the mixing of Candy inks, or the creation of high-quality paints.

Its exceptional qualities include sagging resistance, fast drying, and high light transfer for all iridescence and transparent tint effects.

It is suitable for airbrush and spray gun.

It is not a finish: it must be Topcoated within 30 minutes.

The Crystal binder is a ready-to-use product. No dilution is necessary.

Sold Pure - dilute 50 to 100% with our thinner

Compatible with all automotive paints, Topcoats and tints.

We offer 3 thinners (V0: 5–15 °C / V1: 15–25 °C / V2: 25–35 °C) which are suitable for different temperatures and seasons.

The binder is one-component and can be diluted from 50 to 100% with our basecoat thinner. It is dilutable without limit and can be used with all spray gun or airbrush nozzles.

VOC: > 420 g/L

This product does not comply with Directive 2004/42/EC appendix II B.

Paint product recommended for customisation and decoration work on vehicles, trucks, motorcycles, jetskis, bicycles, helmets or vintage cars. Also suitable for all objects, equipment, furniture and suitably prepared and/or primed surfaces.
