Bathtub paint is a high-resistance glossy 2K paint which has the particularity of allowing direct adhesion to ceramic.

Preparation of the surface :
The surface must be thoroughly cleaned before applying the paint. It is possible to use a degreaser or a household laundry-type cleaner.
For optimal cleaning, use our PPG D837 cleaner
Scrub the surface well with a grey abrasive sponge, then rinse.
Dry with a clean cloth.
For perfect adhesion and excellent durability over time, it is essential to have a clean, healthy and dry surface.
Application :
- Solvent-free water-based acrylic bathtub paint
Mixture: ready-to-use paint
Apply 2 coats
Time interval between coats:
30 minutes with a roller / 10 minutes with a spray gun
Spray gun setting: 3 bar / nozzle 1.4–1.5 mm
Touch dry: 1 hour – Fully dry: 12 hours
- 2-component solvent-based polyurethane bathtub paint
Mixture: by volume 100 parts paint + 50 parts hardener
Pot life of the mixture: 1 hour at 20 °C
Apply 2 coats
Time interval between coats:
20 minutes with a roller / 10 minutes with a spray gun
Spray gun setting: 2.5 bar / nozzle 1.3–1.4 mm
Touch dry: 4 hours – Fully dry: 24 hours
