Read our article on 'installing a Compressed Air System

Uses:

Bodywork paintjob with spray guns, pneumatic tools, and compressed air systems.

The FILTRA KMA filters water, dust, and grease.

Innovative technology:

Compressed air entering through the inlet is directed into the guide plate, which features evenly distributed diagonal teeth similar to fan blades.

The high-speed compressed air produces a strong rotational motion along the teeth, creating a centrifugal force that separates water, oil, and larger impurities. These are projected onto the inner wall of the tank and flow downwards.

The extracted air is then filtered through a fine filter element that removes small solid particles before being released through the outlet.

The umbrella-shaped water-blocking plate divides the tank into two zones: the lower zone maintains static pressure, preventing the high-speed airflow from drawing up water and oil from the bottom.

Accumulated water and oil must be drained through the purge valve. The air filter must always be installed vertically, with the tank facing downwards.

Simple version connections :

1/2" air outlet

Master version connections (fittings and pipes not included):

The Master version (also available under custom names) is equipped with a 1/2" pneumatic inlet valve and two outlets:

1/4" male pneumatic valve

1/4" female quick-clip connector

A bodywork paint filter must always have a minimum inlet of 3/8" or ideally 1/2" to ensure sufficient airflow. The outlet can be 1/4".

Connection in the paint booth.

Filtration accuracy:

Two cartridges – 1µm + 0.01µm – ensure complete filtration of large and sub-micron particles.

Removes grease, dust, and moisture effectively.

Maintenance:

No maintenance or part replacement required. Simply purge the cartridges regularly.
