Anti-wave paintPaintings against waves

Our environment is saturated with various waves, most of which come from above our heads, that is to say from the cosmos. Today, with the generalization of mobile networks and Wi-Fi networks, our vital environment is flooded by a certain range of microwaves, which have the particularity of passing through walls very easily. For people sensitive to waves, there is the solution of microwave protection paint. These anti-radiation paints are both effective coatings but also easy to implement by anyone. We can also say that the installation of such protection is quite economical.

These waves produced in emission, either by mobile phones / indoor cordless phones, or by the antennas of mobile networks have a wavelength between 0.9 and 1.8 GHz. As for the Wi-Fi network, their wavelength is a little higher and it is between 2.4 and 5 GHz. This range of microwaves is far removed from the heating waves of our microwave ovens (2.450 MHz) and even waves of visible light.
Waves from mobile networks or Wi-Fi networks have very little power heating. However, some people have developed a sensitivity to this type of wave, although science has not yet been able to prove it.

Blocking the airwaves, to tell the truth, is not easy. Indeed, it is not enough to paint a wall with one layer or even 5 layers of products, thinking that you have overcome the passage of these harmful waves. If you want to totally block the waves and create a real 99% protected room, you have to paint the floor, the walls and the ceiling at the same time.

Anti-wave paint

These technical coatings are easy to use and can be applied by any individual or professional. To apply them on a wall, you need a simple paint roller or a brush.

The application is possible on any primed background and even on rough materials and among them, stone, concrete or brick.

The varnishing of this paint can be done with any varnish without affecting the properties of the paint. In general, it is used both for the undercoat and the varnish of water-based acrylic products. These products are solvent-free and are the only ones commonly used in interior living spaces.

The application thickness or the number of layers is the essential point for obtaining the optimal effectiveness of the blocking of the waves.

How does this anti-radiation paint work ?
The composition of this anti-radiation paint is relatively simple, since it is essentially based on the pure graphite powder filler. These highly conductive particles are known to block waves very effectively. Depending on the particle size and concentration, the anti-radiation paint will be able to block most Wi-Fi and mobile networks. To obtain maximum protection, it is necessary to provide a thickness of 150 to 200 microns dry, which is equivalent to 4 coats of paint ?

This paint is charcoal gray in appearance, it is not particularly visually appealing. However, it is perfectly possible to cover it with the paint or color of your choice. It is recommended to use it during the construction phase of the house or building, to place it on structures, on brick walls, or inside plasterboard. In addition to its dark appearance, it can also have an unpleasant rough texture.

Anti-wave paintShould the anti-radiation paint be earthed ?

When covering large surfaces with this anti-radiation paint, static electricity can form. Therefore, in these cases only, it is recommended to make a grounding, with for example a simple copper cable connected to a mass, or else for the largest installations, this cable should be connected to a spike planted deep in Earth. When painting a single wall with this anti-radiation paint, it is not really necessary to make a relay to the ground, because the risks of accumulation of static electricity are not really important.

Painting and its characteristics

Most anti-radiation paint offers are non-harmful and compatible for all interior uses in living areas. They contain no more than 3% VOCs and contain no heavy metals or other toxic ingredients.

They are particularly resistant to corrosion and can be applied outdoors. In fact, in addition to being completely resistant to ultraviolet rays, graphite particles cannot corrode with humidity.

This paint has everything of a classic water-based paint, with a pleasant smell when applied and a classic drying time for water-based paints.
It is advisable to stir the paint carefully before using it, in order to homogenize its content and in particular its graphite load.
