Waterbased chameleon paint - Colorshift effect

Chameleon colour shift effect is identical to those of conventional solvent-based paints. Depending of where you stand, you will be able to see 2 to 4 different colours.

The waterborne range is an automotive waterbased basecoat of a new generation, containing less than 2% of solvents (in conformity with the legislation for the reduction of Solvent Emissions (2004/42/CE)

The paints can be shipped by Air, they are not considered as harmful products.

They are innovative eco-friendly products, contributing to the reduction of pollution for customers.

These new waterbased paints are very fine, really easy and pleasant to use. They have the same high performance than those of conventional solvent-based paints: drying is immediate and the film very thin but resistant. These waterborne paints are of course compatible with any other automotive product.

THEORICAL COVERAGE: 4.5 sqm / L

USE : Spraygun

SETTINGS: Spraygun: Nozzle by preference 1.2 to 1.4  - Air pressure : 3 bars

It's recommanded to take off the filtering screen from the spraygun.

MIX: Shake well before use to ensure a good homogenisation of the product. Thinning with water, 5% max.

APPLICATION: To be applied over a background that must be black, sanded with P400/P500 DRY or P800 wet. (Any type of automotive paint or primer, solvent or water based) (Our black basecoat can be found under section 'Basecoat'). Spray chameleon paint in 4 to 5 thin coats,  allow 30 seconds minimum between each pass.

DRYING AT 20°C: TOUCH DRY10 minutes per pass.

TOPCOAT: After complete drying, and within 72 h maximum. Wait that the finish is completely matt before to clear.  Accelerating the drying can be done by blowing more air or by raising the temperature. Clear with any type of automotive clearcoat, within 72 hours max to ensure a good adherence. Begin by preference with a thin pass for a good adherence. Use our automotive topcoats BS830 or BS810 ( section TOPCOATS )

SHELF-LIFE: 3 MONTHS IN ITS ORIGINAL PACKAGING, KEPT BETWEEN 10 C° AND 30° C
