The colours in the LUNAAR collection are paints with extreme special effects that produce striking hues. The LUNAAR shades are selected from the most extraordinary combinations available in StardustColors’ SCO colour system.
This collection brings together the most fabulous paintings ever produced.
Appearance
These are mainly pearlescent paints that combine bright, shifting and surprising colours, transparent iridescent interference effects, and transparent colours that accentuate the sense of depth. We recommend using a gloss varnish to bring out the colours to their full potential.
Three-layer system
These striking colours are achieved using three-coat paint systems, applied in several successive stages:

Composition
Formulation: single-component solvent-based (also available in a water-based formulation) primer for topcoating. The gloss and durability are provided by the topcoat.
Scope of use
The Lunaar range is designed for personalising objects, vehicles and architectural features.
All colours are highly UV-resistant

applied by spraying (1.0–1.4 mm airbrush, airbrush gun)
Description of the offers
LUNAAR paint is supplied as a set of two tins, designated LUXX-C1 (coat I) and LUXX-C2 (coat II).
2x 125ml / 2x 250ml / 2x 500ml / 2x 1L / 2x 400ml aerosol
Mixture
Single-component paints I and II are ready to use (already thinned).
Theoretical yield: 5m²/L
Preparation
All types of surfaces can be painted, provided they have been properly primed and prepared.
The substrate must be sound, free from dust, dry, free from grease and sanded to P500 grit. A grey primer (RAL 7040) is recommended.
Recommended working temperature: 20°C
Instructions for use
1- Apply Layer I in two coats, allowing 5–10 minutes between coats, and proceed directly to the next step, ensuring that no more than 30 minutes elapse before recoating.
2- Apply Layer II in three thin coats, allowing 2–5 minutes between coats, and proceed directly to the next step, ensuring that no more than 30 minutes elapse before recoating.
3- Apply the gloss varnish
