Extreme Gloss Hi-Gloss Black 2K Paint

Stardust introduces its new polyurethane 2K paint based on polyester and alkyd resin, catalysed with isocyanate:

Extreme Mirror Gloss

It achieves a level of gloss never before reached by any other 2K paint.

The black colour is deeper, more intense, and creates an exceptional shine, reflecting the light like a mirror.

Maximum Hardness

This Hi-Gloss 2K paint produces an ultra-hard dry film that is more shock-resistant and scratch-resistant than traditional bodywork 2K paints.

2K aerosol 290 ml bi-component polyurethane

Kit 0.375 L: 250 ml paint + 125 ml H419 hardener + 50 ml thinner

Kit 0.875 L: 500 ml paint + 250 ml H419 hardener + 125 ml thinner

Kit 1.750 L: 1000 ml paint + 500 ml H419 hardener + 250 ml thinner

Kit 8.500 L: 5000 ml paint + 2.5 L H419 hardener + 1 L thinner

Accelerated Drying Process

The paint dries quickly at room temperature: touch dry in 30 minutes, and the vehicle can be used after 3–6 hours.

Kit 0.375 L: 250 ml paint + 125 ml H419 hardener

Kit 0.750 L: 500 ml paint + 250 ml H419 hardener

Kit 1.5 L: 1 L paint + 500 ml H419 hardener

Kit 7.5 L: 5 L paint + 2.5 L H419 hardener

Uses:

• High-end interior and exterior finishes

• Chroming with paint or silvering

• Especially suitable for painting car or motorcycle rims

• Full vehicle paintwork

• Furniture and worktops

• Bottles

Mixing and use:

100 volumes of 2K paint + 50 volumes of hardener

Let stand 5 minutes

Spray gun: 1.3–1.5 mm / 2.5 bar

Apply 1–2 coats (allow 5 min between each coat)

Pot life: 30 min

For this Hi-Gloss 2K paint, no thinner is required.

If you wish to thin it, you can use any bodywork thinner (only a small amount is necessary).

Coverage:

8-10 m² per litre in 1 coat
Aerosol:

1.5 m² in 1 coat
