WUHS topcoat for polycarbonate

WUHS Topcoat is the only one that guarantees adhesion to polycarbonate.

This water-based Topcoat is ready to use and benefits from a very specific aliphatic polyurethane formula.

It is a gloss/matt Topcoat offering good covering and filling power.

The WUHS Topcoat is resistant to sunlight and UV, to outdoor conditions (rain, cold, heat) and does not yellow over time.

100% adhesion on polycarbonate

The particularity of the WUHS Topcoat is that it adheres to polycarbonate, a flexible, glossy and very resistant plastic, which no other Topcoat or primer can adhere to properly, without coming off when stressed.

This special polycarbonate adhesion Topcoat has been tested (Cross Hatch Test) and designed to ensure a real guarantee of adhesion: it is perfectly resistant to delamination, even in the event of bending, impact, cutting, or tearing.

Acrylic topcoat with direct adhesion to many materials

Metals: WUHS acrylic Topcoat adheres directly to steel, aluminium and galvanised steel.

Glass and ceramic: WUHS acrylic Topcoat provides excellent adhesion directly to glass, enamel or ceramic.

Plastics: WUHS acrylic Topcoat adheres directly to ABS, PET, PVC, PC. It provides good adhesion on PP and PE.

Appearance

Its appearance is white in the liquid state and transparent and clear after drying.

Slightly viscous liquid product (60 sec Ford 4).

Application

It can be used with a spray gun, an airbrush (after dilution with 10–15% water) or a roller.

Polycarbonate Topcoat is applied in one or two passes.

Compatible on all paints.

Application pressure: 2.5–3 bars.

Spray gun nozzle: 1.4 mm.

Possibility of diluting up to 10% for use with fine nozzles.

Drying

WUHS Topcoat dries quickly, in 30 minutes per coat at 20°C.
