Description

The PVVC series consists of acrylic airbrush paints in transparent colours.

The colours are obtained from completely transparent dyes, and therefore allow light to pass through.

► In the field of 3D printing, PVVC colours are used to tint transparent resins.

Properties :

Bright and resistant finishes

These transparent paints are ideal for SLA or FDM type 3D printing, as they allow direct adhesion.

Compatible with all water-based or solvent-based paints.

Formulation :

Solvent-free water-based acrylic (Hybrid aliphatic polyurethane acrylic)

The paints are ready to use

Tools can be rinsed with water

Use of acrylics :

Preferably with an airbrush (0.3-0.5mm nozzle) or a paint gun.

Dilution is possible with water (up to 10%)

Despite the excellent adhesion power, it is always preferable, when possible, to carry out a superficial sanding with P500.

However, these paints can adhere directly to most 3D printed parts of plastic or resin type.

► The application must be carried out on a light opaque or metallic / pearlescent background and must be done with 2 to 4 layers depending on the desired shade.

♣ The more layers are applied, the darker the color becomes

The colors are miscible with each other to obtain other secondary colors.

The colors are UV resistant (with the exception of the transparent fluorescent reference)

Drying : 20min per layer at 20 ° C
