More info

Milliput is a versatile, easy to use and durable putty (epoxy paste),

Its ability to bond different materials, its resistance to water, heat and chemicals, as well as its ease of use make it an essential tool for all model making or 3D printing work.

It can be used on various materials such as metal, wood, ceramic, plastic, etc.

Can be used indoors or outdoors, it is also resistant to water, heat and chemicals.

Once dry, Milliput paste can be sanded, sculpted and painted to achieve the desired finish.

It also becomes completely waterproof when it is completely dry.

Use

Milliput Epoxy Paste is a versatile and popular epoxy putty used in the fields of model making, sculpting, 3D printing, etc.

It is made up of two separate sticks, 1 of resin and 1 of hardener (blue packaging).

The 2 components must be mixed with a ratio of 1:1

The mixture becomes a solid, strong and durable mass in approximately 90 minutes.

Please note that setting time may vary depending on factors such as temperature and humidity.

Does not stick to fingers or tools.

Temperature resistant up to 130°C.

Milliput putty can be sculpted and shaped with tools such as knives, spatulas or sanding paper.

The paste can be diluted with water to obtain a smoother finish, better suited to creating intricate shapes and details.

Preservation and Storage

The product can be stored for years if kept in a cool, dry place.

If the paste hardens or becomes difficult to mix, it can be softened by heating it by immersing it in hot water or more simply with the help of a hair dryer.

Once the sticks are mixed and used, you can store the excess mixture in the freezer, this will maintain the state of the dough for approximately 24 hours, allowing you to resume your work without difficulty within this time period.

Do I need to wear gloves to use Milliput putty?

Wearing gloves is not strictly necessary, but it may be a good practice depending on your preferences and the project in question.

MILLIPUT BLACK

Milliput Black is a tinted version of the standard milliput, making it ideal for creating shadows as well as adding depth to sculptures and dioramas. Milliput Black can be used to add details to figures, repair and fill holes, as well as create textured surfaces.

Like other types of Milliput it is easy to work with, it dries to a hard, durable finish, and can be sanded, drilled and painted once it has set.
