Varnish: Our products do not contain varnish. Varnish may be necessary to create protection against weathering and abrasion. For display figurines or sculptures, this is not usually necessary. Varnishes are available inglossy finishes or matt finishes, and we leave this choice up to the user.
All our metallic paints have a satin matt finish.

Applying solvent-based paints from the IRON MAN kit
Solvent-based paints must be dry and sanded before being covered with the next coat of colour, starting with the darkest colours and finishing with the lightest colours (gold).
The first step is to apply a two-component primer (mix 4 parts primer + 1 part hardener + 1 part thinner – pot life: 2 hours max), which should be left to dry for two hours at 20°C before sanding with P500 sandpaper. Next, apply the dark metallic colours and reds, again in very thin, repeated coats until the base is covered.
The paints are ready to use and can be covered after sanding with an abrasive sponge and allowing one hour for drying. Adhesive masking tape is then applied and the next colour is painted on.
* Suitable for all types of 3D printing materials, prepared resins, wood and old paintwork.
