CAR TUNING KIT - DIAMOND PAINT

The Diamond kit includes high-quality automotive paints that guarantee a personalized, radiant and long-lasting finish. Diamond paints contain fairly large and very iridescent nacres, and use Candy inks to create luminous and deep colors.

The effects of Diamant range car paints are very impressive ; they open up a variety of possibilities for innovation in the field of automotive coatings.

Using high-purity silicon, and covered with metallic oxides, the micro-particles of the paint produce an incomparable and unique optical effect of scintillation, which cannot be reproduced with the classic colors offered by the manufacturers : In addition, the very distinct depth of shades, the "color flop" is unique, thanks to the use either of transparent Candy (for certain shades), or by the natural properties of mother-of-pearl which takes color by reflecting the light.

• 4L Black for the background (or white, depending on the diamond shade chosen)
• 4L pure Diamond + 3L thinner
• 2L  Ultra High Solid clearcoat + 0.66L hardener  + 250ml thinner

Application Technique Summary :

The Diamond finish is quite easy to obtain, in a three-stages process, successively.

The background paint, black or white (pre-thinned) is applied first, immediately followed by the Diamond coat (thinning at 75% necessary). Spray the Diamond paint in consecutive and very thin passes until the desired shade. The clearcoat is the third stage, to be applied within the next 30 minutes.

It is very important to apply them in finer passes, to avoid the risk of sagging, and to prevent "marbling" effect, and in order for the  "diamond" pearls contained in the paints to be correctly positioned,  "laying flat".

A significant thinning (from 70 to 100%) allows for finer coats, and a better applied paint.

Guarantee :

Diamond paints have the highest possible resistance to external elements (sun, UV, heat), as for the varnish chosen for the kit, it is the highest quality of automotive clearcoat (ultra high solids UHS clearcoat) , in terms of abrasion resistance and gloss.

Diamond paintings are Candy paintings.
They are resistant to the sun, but are more fragile than the classic shades.
For this reason, it is important to simply park your vehicle in the shade, and not expose it to the sun unnecessarily.

There are also anti-UV clearcoats that help protect transparent shades even more than conventional clearcoats.
