Ultra-thin UV ink for printers

UV invisible ink is a simple and effective solution for producing discreet prints that only become visible under an ultraviolet lamp.

Under normal light, the liquid is completely colourless. The documents therefore retain their original appearance, whilst the printed information remains invisible until revealed under UV light.

Genuine security ink

This ink is ideal for creating confidential markings, identification codes, serial numbers, invisible signatures or control marks.

Instantaneous fluorescence

The principle is based on fluorescence.

When the ink is exposed to ultraviolet radiation between 300 and 400 nm, it immediately emits visible blue light.

For the best brightness, we recommend a 365 nm UV lamp.

Unlike phosphorescent products, the fluorescence disappears instantly as soon as the lamp is switched off.

Water-based formulation

This ink is water-based and is not classified as a hazardous substance under normal conditions of use.

Its very low viscosity, approximately 5 mPa·s, is ideally suited to inkjet printing systems.

It offers:

• excellent flow;
• rapid drying;
• good surface tension;
• very good adhesion to porous substrates and many smooth substrates.

Compatible with inkjet printers

This invisible ink is designed for refilling refillable cartridges compatible with the main printing technologies:

• HP® and Canon® (thermal cartridges);
• Epson® and Brother® (piezoelectric printheads).

The 60 ml bottle is sufficient to refill several cartridges, depending on their capacity.
