This respirator is approved for protection against organic gases and vapours with a boiling point above 65°C up to 10 times the OEL or 5,000 ppm, whichever is lower, and for solid and liquid aerosols up to 10 times the OEL for the specific substance.

Do not use for contaminant concentrations that exceed the levels indicated in the product selection guide in the accompanying booklet, the instructions provided with the pre-filters, or specified in regulatory standards.

Do not use for contaminant concentrations that are unknown or pose an immediate danger to life or health.

WARNINGS AND LIMITATIONS:

1. This respirator must be used in accordance with a comprehensive respiratory protection programme, including proper selection, fit testing, and training in the use, adjustment, and storage of the respirator. Failure to do so may result in protection that is less than that specified in the Product Selection Guide. Regulatory standards may require a lower level of protection for this category of equipment. Verify selection using the colour-coded label, as indicated in the Product Selection Guide.

2. Do not use this respirator when the concentration of contaminants is unknown, presents an immediate danger to life and health, or exceeds the limits specified in the selection guide.

3. This respirator does not provide oxygen. Do not use it in atmospheres containing less than 19.5% oxygen (or the concentration specified by regulatory authorities) or in any atmosphere that presents or may present an immediate danger to life or health. Do not use it in oxygen-enriched atmospheres.

4. Leave the contaminated area immediately and replace the respirator if: a) it is damaged; b) you smell or taste the contaminant, or if irritation occurs; c) breathing becomes difficult, dizziness or other discomfort occurs.

5. Additional pre-filters are required with gas and vapour cartridges for certain fumes, mists and aerosols. For specific applications, consult an occupational hygienist or safety professional.

6. If you are unable to achieve a proper facial fit, do not enter the contaminated area. Consult your supervisor. 7. Do not use this respirator if you have a beard, facial hair, or any other physical characteristics that may prevent direct contact between your face and the edge of the respirator.

7. Do not use this respirator if you have a beard, facial hair or other physical characteristics that could prevent direct contact between your face and the edges of the respirator.

8. Do not misuse or improperly use this respirator, nor modify or alter it.

9. Use only for vapours and gases with a noticeable odour at levels below the OEL. The useful life of the respirator depends on contamination levels, work intensity and other environmental factors. Discard the respirator or, if applicable, replace the pre-filter when odours are noticeable at the mask or breathing resistance becomes excessive. Discard the respirator mask after use, even if there are no problems.

10. The useful life of the mask may also depend on the number and type of chemicals present in the atmosphere. For advice, consult an occupational hygienist or safety professional.

11. Store this respirator mask in an airtight container, away from contaminated areas.

12. Do not use when the concentration of contaminants is likely to generate high reaction heat in combination with the chemical cartridge.

13. The equipment must not be a source of ignition, but must not be used in explosive atmospheres, as the concentration of contaminants within the normal flammability range exceeds the limits specified in the selection guide.

14. The respirator must be discarded if its storage period exceeds its best-before date.
