Case for the renovation of headlight optics.
Simple process by fine sanding, then application of steam to repolymerise the plastic.
Product in stock and delivered within 24 hours.
Product supplied for 40 renovations.
500 ml refill available.
This case contains everything needed to renovate polycarbonate auto/motorcycle headlight lenses by spraying (complete kit).
The same process is used in 3D printing to smooth parts.
In summary, the technique consists of sanding the headlight lens to remove the original Topcoat and scratches, with progressively finer sanding grits up to P2000.
Then, thanks to the heating of the product, the action of the steam penetrates the micro-cracks and repolymerises the plastic, restoring a perfect shine.

Caution : When the device is not in use, it must be unplugged from the power source, as overheating can damage it.
Yellowing and cracking due to the ageing of headlight optics seriously affects the quality of lighting and therefore driving vision at night.
How does this tool work for the restoration of headlight optics ?
Steps :
1. After masking the bodywork paint around the headlight with adhesive tape, sand manually with water, using abrasive paper grits P500, P800, P1200, P1500 and P2000 (P3000 and P5000 if necessary), included in the kit. Use grit P180 first, then P320 if there are deep scratches on the optics.
The optics are now smooth and polished: the surface takes on a matt white appearance.
2. After heating, the product is atomised in the form of vapour using the heating cup fitted with a nozzle. Apply to the surface of the headlight optics from bottom to top.
3. The optic immediately regains its shine and can then be washed in clear water.
Attention
Acetone is a toxic and extremely flammable liquid (see MSDS), even at room temperature (flash point: -18 °C).
Its vapour can form an explosive mixture on contact with air and is easily ignited by a static discharge. Use this kit only in a closed, dark area, away from any source of ignition.
