Glass Ceramics Clear Coat - CLEARGLASS

The CLEARGLASS glass and ceramic topcoat provides excellent direct adhesion on all glass and ceramic surfaces, without special adhesion primer for glass

This specialized adhesion clearcoat for glass exists in 2 versions:
ClearGlass Hydro: One-component, solvent-free gloss clearcoat
ClearGlass solvent-based: old version, two-component very high glossy solvent-based clearcoat

Sold in different Kits:

Solvent version
1.75L: 1L clearcoat + 500ml H420 Hardener + 250ml Thinner
8.5L: 5L clearcoat + 2.5L H420 Hardener + 1L Thinner

Hydro version
1L – 5L – 20L

Glass clearcoat CLEARGLASS HYDRO

This latest generation clearcoat is an innovation offering a good level of performance in terms of adhesion, shine (60-75° specular gloss) and resistance, with a VOC level of less than 2%.
It also offers good resistance to all chemical attack factors (alcohol, detergents, acids) and good resistance to abrasion.

ClearGlass Hydro clearcoat is also an extremely simple clearcoat to apply, in one coat directly on the prepared glass (dry, degreased, dusted)
Its application is possible both by brush and by spraying.

Mixture: ready-to-use varnish
Packaging: we offer small formats (1L and 5L) and also formats for professionals or industrialists, with decreasing prices depending on the quantity.
Coloring: We offer compatible transparent concentrated dyes for hydro glass clearcoat.

Solvent clearcoat for glass: Two-component polyurethane version 

This professional industrial quality varnish is crystal clear, and allows to obtain the highest level of gloss (90° specular gloss) and resistance, thanks to its polyurethane formula. It also allows a guarantee of direct adhesion and good hold

Substrate preparation
The surface must be sound and free of contaminants or moisture.

To achieve the best adhesion results, and for optimal wetting of the surface, it is recommended to treat with a flame in less than 30 minutes before application.


Recommendations for use
Apply a first flash pass (thin layer), then apply 1 full coat after 2 minutes

It’s possible to apply 2 passes at 5-10 min intervals to obtain greater thickness.

Mixed :
By weight or volume, mix 100 parts clearcoat to 50 parts hardener.
Dilution: possible between 5 and 20%
Mixture pot life: 40 min at 20°C

It is possible to color the direct adhesion varnish on glass and ceramics

using opaque shades or transparent dyes

The system can last 200 hours in salt spray test.

Shelf life in closed original packaging: At least 2 years from manufacture.

Store covered in a cool, ventilated place avoiding exposure to sunlight.

Recommended storage temperature: between 5 and 25ºC.
