The Chameleon paint kit Stardust® for motorcycle comprises well enough paints (bases, paints and clearcoats) for a big size streamlined motorbike. 

Chameleons are well-known special effects, not only for their amazing colours shift effects but also for their highly resistant iridescent finish.

When ordering, please select your shade among the 35 ones displayed on the PDF Stardust® chameleon colour chart.

The basecoats provided in the kits are compatible with all motorcycle fairings: plastic and metallic fairings are painted, thus a simple sanding is enough to create adherence. A primer is not required.
If stickers cause trouble under the clear coat (giving an extra thickness), sand lightly, without removing the stickers, then prime with our filling surfacer in several thick layers to level, then make a complete sanding to obtain a perfect
and smooth surface

Chameleons are easy to paint and it’s really rare to mess up the job.

Any motor-vehicle painter can take care of it.

In addition to the instructions given on the cans, our team is available during the week, by phone or email, to answer to possible questions of painters.

Spray paint (nozzle 1.0 - 1.4mm, 2.5 - 3.5 bars)

Summary:

Summary of mixing and application instructions

♦ 1L of pre-diluted and ready-to-use black base coat
shake well before use
apply a few thin coats, then proceed to the next step after drying for 10 to 20 minutes at 20°C

♦ 1L of pre-diluted and ready-to-use chameleon paint
stir the bottom of the can well with a ruler
apply several very thin coats (4 or 5) over the black base coat, leaving two minutes between coats. Allow 10 to 20 minutes to dry, then proceed to the next step

♦ 1L of Ultra High Solid automotive clearcoat + 330 ml of hardener + 125 ml of thinner
mix 100 parts clearcoat + 33 parts hardener and 5 to 15 parts thinner. Mix by volume or weight. for example: 600g of transparent + 200g of hardener + 60g of thinner
