Mercedes paint application:

Mixed:
The product hardens with a hardener. Attention: at room temperature, once the hardener is added, the product must be used within 3 hours.
The mixture is done by volume (not by weight) at 2 for 1:
- 100 volumes of paint
- 50 volumes of hardener
- dilution according to the preference of the painter: about 10% thinner

Before application:
Thoroughly degrease, clean, dust and prepare the raw surface if necessary (if it is metal, plastic, etc.)
On old paints, no primer is necessary: a light sanding with 800 is enough to create the grip.

Application:
Mercedes Direct Gloss Paint is a thick, glossy lacquer:

if you apply too thin a layer, it does not shine
if you apply a layer that is too wet/too thick, it runs
Spray (1.2 - 1.5mm) apply 1 or 2 coats, respecting an interval of 10min
It is recommended to paint at a temperature of at least 20°C

Drying:
Touch dry in 1 hour
Through-dry: 24 hours

The content of the Mercedes direct gloss paint offers:
- 0.375ml kit (250ml + 125ml hardener)
- 0.875ml kit (500ml + 250ml hardener + 100ml thinner)
- 1.650L kit (1L + 0.5L hardener + 150ml thinner)
- 8.5 L kit (5L + 2.50L hardener + 1L thinner)

Theoretical yield: for 60µm dry: 9-10m²/ L and per coat
