Composition:
Solvent-based matt bases*
Single-component paints (1C) to varnish

Paint mixing:
Shake or stir well
Dilute the pure versions (in kits) by about 50 to 70%

The paints of the horse brand are high-quality colors that are supplied in our brand with a guarantee and perfect resistance to UVs.

We do not make all the color codes that have existed since the existence of the Ferrari manufacturer, however our database contains reasonably 80% of the existing colors.

The creation of colors in direct gloss version 2C, is possible only for colors that do not contain mother-of-pearl or aluminum.

Where can you find your paint reference?

We advise you to ask your dealer, or simply your garage. It is easy to find on the bodywork, for example in the opening of the passenger door, the reference which is made up of 3 to 5 alphanumeric characters

How much paint to order?

In general, we use the rule of yield which is expressed in volume of paint per square meter.
The approximate standard consumption is 4 to 5 m² per liter of diluted paint.

Application and implementation advice

A successful painting job already begins with a perfectly prepared surface. This implies an original paint/varnish in good condition for the base
or a filling primer preferably

For the application of a matt base car paint
It is imperative to have a sanded base with an abrasive grain
in order to create a perfect guarantee of adhesion

The base must be clean before painting, i.e. dust-free, dry and degreased

Use a paint gun equipped with a nozzle between 0.8 mm and 1.5 mm
It is recommended to always paint at a moderate temperature, above 15° and below 25°C.

The application of the Ferrari matt base is done in 2 or 3 thin coats with a drying time of a few minutes between each coat

Before benefiting from wet-on-wet adhesion, it is important to varnish immediately, that is to say before 30 minutes have elapsed

Tri-coat shades
These are very particular colours from the manufacturer Ferrari, which consists of 2 paints, then a varnish. It is generally a deeper colour and with an attractive appearance.
If your colour code is part of a special reference, our colourist will notify you and invite you to order the specific coat 1.

About the base

Each colour from the Italian manufacturer normally requires a particular base colour. Generally this is a medium grey primer RAL 7040.

Our preparer will contact you if there is a specific need, and your primer colour will be automatically adjusted without you having to worry about it

Car polish is available in aerosol clearcoat.
It is also available for those who use a paint gun, in a 875ml mini kit, or in a 1.5L kit of 830 UHS car clearcoat.
