These index colors are not derived from blends, they are pure and mono-pigmented.
Unlike blends, they have more vibrancy and are easy to use.

They are primary colors, made with a single reference pigment

What are CI colors (COLOR INDEX)?

there is a world-renowned database to classify the primary colors* since 1925
It is an index that represents the reference in the field for professionals or individuals, artists or manufacturers.

*By colors, we must understand the existing natural or synthetic dyes and pigments.

These pigments are listed in CI number (Color index). Commercial or chemical names complete this list.

This international nomenclature is deciphered as follows:

LETTER + NO.
