Matting agent - Matting additive for lacquers and clearcoats

The matting agent comes in the form of a very fine and light-weight white powder.
It reduces the gloss of dry films from lacquers and clear coats. It’s fully compatible with the solvent-based products used in body work and industrial paints.

Supplied in 200g pot or 500g bag

Composition: Hydrated magnesium silicate Mg3Si4O10(OH)2

Use:
Mix 5 to 15% in weight in the preparation, depending on the desired degree of matification (from satin to extra mat)

Shake/stir until a perfect mixture is obtained.
To facilitate the mixing, the powder can be added to a dose of thinner for addition to the topcoat.
