BS810 HIGH SOLID TOPCOAT

This high quality automotive clearcoat offers a good film thickness and is designed for successful and easy application, to achieve glossy and lacquered finishes.

It has good thickness and covering qualities, with little drips. 

And thanks to the thinner supplied with, you will be able to adjust the right fluidity for a perfect flow.

The formula was originally manufactured by Dupont Company, and has been tested in freezing cold or in high latitudes regions. It has demonstrated its extraordinary resistance to weather conditions and to UV, thanks to its absorbing anti UV additive that is incorporated.

The Bs-810 clear coat is a High Solid topcoat (dense composition) which allows excellent spraying, fast drying, fine polishing, and displays a high-quality hardness and gloss. It can be used for touch-ups and for complete finishes as well.

The clear coat has a 2:1 mixing ratio with the catalyzer/hardener which is available in Fast (5-15°C), Normal (15-25°C), or Slow(15-25°C) speed.

Mix proportion ratio : 100 parts topcoat for 50 parts hardener, + 10 to 20% thinner

Application : In one light pass (thinning at 5% recommended), followed two minutes after (more or less depending on the temperature) by 1 or 2 wet coats (thinned at 10-20%).

What is a HS clear coat ?

High Solid means a topcoat that has a high proportion of dry extracts. An HS topcoat will be more concentrated and be able to cover better the small imperfections in surfaces, thanks to its superior viscosity.

MS (Medium Solid) clear coats also exists, of lower quality, and UHS (Ultra High Solid) topcoats
